Organic priorities, January

The usual plan

Target the 40 highest-volume terms in the category

What we’d prioritize

Start with the 9 terms that already produce SQLs in paid. Volume follows later.

Write a guide for every keyword cluster

Two pages, both answering questions sales hears on first calls.

Run a technical audit once a year

Check Search Console monthly. Crawl errors and dropped pages get flagged before they cost a quarter of traffic.

The mechanism

Paid data makes organic work faster and cheaper.

Start with what converts

Paid search terms show which queries produce qualified leads before SEO spends a quarter finding out. The month’s priorities start there.

Nothing breaks quietly

A site change, a plugin update, or a redesign can knock pages out of Google’s index without anyone noticing until traffic is down. We read Search Console every month and flag anything new: crawl errors, pages dropped from the index, rankings sliding after a change.

One view

Paid and organic in one monthly read, by term and by pipeline stage, alongside your ad program’s report when there is one.

What GEO means here

Where you show up when buyers ask an AI instead of searching.

Generative engine optimization, as we practice it, is measurement first. We track a fixed set of buyer prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google’s AI results, record which ones mention you and which mention competitors, and look at the pages those answers cite.

The memo then says what to change and in what order: clearer entity information about the company, pages that answer the questions directly, structured data, citations on sites the models already trust. Your team makes the changes; we report what moved. Nobody can promise a placement inside an AI answer, and we don’t.

What’s included

  • Monthly monitoring of rankings, Search Console, AI search visibility, and paid-term overlap.
  • A monthly priorities memo with notes: what the data shows, the priorities for the month, and who on your side owns each.
  • Priorities set by conversion data and mapped to pipeline stages.
  • Reporting alongside your ad program when there is one.

We don’t implement. Every recommendation is carried out by your team or your agency.

A good fit

B2B companies with a site they control and a team or agency that can implement, whether or not they run ads with us.

A poor fit

Anyone expecting us to make the changes, or a site that can’t be changed.

Questions

About SEO/GEO.

Do you implement the changes?

No. Your team or your agency does. We set the priorities, write the notes that explain each one, and check what shipped against the numbers.

Do I need an ad program?

No. SEO/GEO is available on its own at $1,000 a month. With an ad program, the paid data feeds straight into the priorities.

We already have an SEO agency. Does this replace them?

It can sit alongside them. The priorities memo and the AI visibility tracking are useful to any team doing the implementation.

How long until organic results show?

Technical fixes can move rankings within weeks once they ship. New content usually takes three to six months to rank.

How is AI visibility measured?

A fixed list of buyer prompts, run on a schedule in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google’s AI results. We record mentions of you and of named competitors, and the sources each answer cites, and report the trend monthly.

Start with a strategy call.

We’ll look at what your paid search terms say about your organic priorities, and tell you whether the monthly service fits.
